Let members share images without handing the community to a social platform.
SELF-HOSTED GALLERY FOR MEMBER COMMUNITIES THAT NEED MODERATED IMAGE SHARING
Gallery adds member image posts, comments, ratings and moderation to an account-and-profile based Freehold CMS community.
What this helps you do
- Let signed-in members publish image posts.
- Moderate image content and participation.
- Support comments and ratings.
- Connect gallery activity to member profiles.
- Keep media and community records under site control.
Community images need more than an upload field.
A working member gallery also needs identity, profiles, permissions, storage planning and moderation. Freehold CMS does not hide those dependencies. Community Gallery supplies the required account, profile and gallery modules together so the operator can build the complete workflow.
Prepare the community before inviting uploads
Configure accounts and profiles, define what members may publish, set storage limits, test moderation and publish participation rules. Then test image submission, comments, ratings and public profile links as an ordinary member.
Why this works differently inside Freehold CMS
The dependency-complete Community Gallery bundle includes the account and profile layers Gallery needs.
The module keeps its own records and validation while the rest of Freehold CMS supplies shared routing, themes, administration and other installed services. That keeps business data in the layer responsible for it instead of copying the same information into several places.
