Caching and Operations

Generated-content caching can reduce repeated work, but cache behavior must remain subordinate to correctness, permissions and a clear invalidation path.

Make invalidation and recovery observable

Record which change clears each generated result, who can preload or clean it and how a failed maintenance action is detected. Monitor storage, database health, email delivery and recurring work. Keep the pre-change backup until the affected public and administrative tasks have passed their checks.

Operations checks

  • Explicit cache keys and scope.
  • Content-aware invalidation.
  • Preload and cleanup controls.
  • No shared private output.
  • Recurring-work observation.
  • Post-maintenance smoke tests.

Cache deliberately

Define what is cached, which inputs establish the key, how long the result may remain useful and which content changes invalidate it. Never reuse private or account-specific output across identities.

Operate the complete installation

Monitor storage, database health, email delivery, recurring work and provider communication. Back up before significant maintenance, test the affected business paths afterward and keep a recovery option until the result is checked.
