The Payments module supports hosted checkout through configured Stripe and PayPal environments.
Updated October 1, 2026
Freehold CMS Payments can hand a Store-owned order to configured Stripe or PayPal hosted checkout.
The exact payment methods you see are controlled by the provider, the merchant account, the checkout environment and what that provider makes available for the transaction.
FreeholdCMS.com is still being finished and is not officially open yet. Product pages may be visible while release and checkout work is being verified.
Hosted checkout sends payment entry to the configured payment provider while Freehold CMS keeps the product, cart and order records.
Do not keep submitting payment. Save the provider reference and ask support to investigate the transaction and order records.
Hosted provider checkout is designed so payment credentials are entered with the configured payment provider rather than typed into Freehold CMS.
