What is the difference between Sandbox and Live payment settings?
Sandbox uses real provider test systems and test credentials. Live uses real merchant credentials and can move real money.

Keep the environments separate
Payments stores Sandbox and Live credentials separately. Select the environment deliberately and use the matching Stripe or PayPal credentials and webhook configuration.
Never paste live secrets into a test field or support ticket. A successful sandbox payment is not proof that live provider credentials are correct.
