Why might an order say pending?
Pending usually means Freehold CMS is waiting for a required payment or fulfillment step to be confirmed.

Pending does not automatically mean failed
A provider can take time to confirm a payment, a webhook can arrive later or a digital or physical fulfillment step can still be waiting.
Do not create duplicate orders just because one is briefly pending. If it stays pending longer than expected, send support the order number and provider reference.
