How should I make a risky change?
Back up first, change one thing at a time and test the public task affected by that change.

Use a reversible workflow
- Back up the database and the complete public and private file tree.
- Record the current setting or version.
- Make one change.
- Clear only the relevant cache if needed.
- Test the affected public and administrator workflow.
If a change fails, restore the known-good state instead of stacking more guesses on top of it.
