When Product Licensing applies to a purchase, the customer area shows the license record associated with that product/order.

Sign in with the account that owns the order, then open the customer license area. A normal downloadable product does not automatically need a license key; licensing applies only when the product is configured for it.
Only products that need software-use rules or activations should have an active Product Licensing policy; normal Store products remain normal products.
An activation links a license to an allowed installation identity such as the domain or other identifier used by the licensed client.
An activation records an approved installation or device using a licensed product according to that product's policy.
A download entitlement controls access to a protected file; a software license controls permitted use and, when configured, activations.
