Preserve the first useful evidence
- Copy the page address and displayed error.
- Note what changed immediately before the failure.
- Check the relevant PHP or web-server error log.
- Confirm file permissions and required PHP extensions.
- Undo the last known change if you have a safe rollback.
Do not enable public display of detailed production errors merely to diagnose the problem.
