What does a database connection error mean?
The application could not reach or authenticate to the configured MySQL or MariaDB database.

Check the connection pieces
Verify the database host, name, username and password, then confirm that the database user is allowed to connect from the web server. If the provider changed a socket, port or hostname, update the protected configuration accordingly.
Do not post database credentials in a support ticket.
