I uploaded new files but nothing changed. What should I check?

Confirm the files went to the correct account and document root, then check caches and file timestamps before uploading again.

Verify the destination

Confirm the domain's actual public_html or document root.
Check that the changed file has the expected size and modification time.
Make sure an old copy is not being loaded from another theme or module directory.
Clear the relevant application/browser cache.

Uploading the same ZIP repeatedly does not fix a wrong destination.
